Monsters are a primary source of XP in Squad Busters. Focus on busting different types of monsters throughout the game. Here’s how to do it effectively:
- Small Monsters: Easily defeated but provide a steady stream of XP.
- Medium Monsters: Offer more XP but require better strategy and stronger squads.
- Big & Boss Monsters: These provide the most XP but are the toughest to beat. Make sure you build a tough squad before you attempt to take them down.
Finish High on the Scoreboard
Your position on the scoreboard at the end of each battle significantly affects the XP you earn. To finish high:
- Survive Longer: Avoid early confrontations unless you are sure of victory.
- Collect Gems: Focus on gathering as many gems as possible. The player with the most gems often ranks higher.
- Use Spells Wisely: Spells can turn the tide of battle. Use them strategically to gain an advantage over opponents.
Complete Achievements
The Achievement Book is divided into three categories: Monsters, Battle Mods, and Spells. Completing these achievements not only rewards you with Portal Energy but also boosts your XP.
- Monsters: Tasks involve busting a specific number of certain monsters.
- Battle Mods: Achievements based on your performance in different battle modes.
- Spells: Using specific spells a set number of times.
Participate in Events

Evolve Characters
Evolving your characters boosts their abilities and can increase the XP you gain from battles. Collect character cards from chests or buy them directly from the shop to evolve your characters from Baby to Classic, and Classic to Super forms.
