Canceling the Exchange Explained
Sending a Proposal
To initiate a Safe Exchange, follow these steps:
- Select the Sticker: Choose the sticker you want to trade from your collection.
- Send to Friend: Send the sticker to your friend by selecting their profile.
- Toggle Exchange Option: Toggle the “Make an Exchange!” option to propose the trade.
- Notification Sent: Your friend will receive a notification prompting them to propose a sticker back in return.
Waiting for a Response
Once you’ve sent the proposal, you must wait for your friend to respond. During this stage, you cannot cancel the proposal. The proposal remains active until your friend takes action or the exchange timer expires.
Declining the Exchange
If your friend responds to the proposal, you will have the option to either accept or decline the exchange. This means that if you change your mind about the trade after sending the proposal, you can only decline it after your friend proposes their sticker for the trade.
Exchange Expiry
If your friend does not respond to the exchange proposal before the daily limit resets, the proposal will expire, and the sticker will be returned to you. This provides an indirect way to cancel the exchange if your friend does not act on it in time.
Additional Tips for Managing Sticker Exchanges
- Double-Check Before Sending: Always review the stickers and the recipient before sending a proposal to avoid mistakes.
- Communicate with Friends: If you realize a mistake after sending a proposal, inform your friend as soon as possible. They can choose not to respond, allowing the exchange to expire.
- Plan Trades Carefully: Organize your sticker collection and plan trades ahead of time to minimize the need for cancellations.
Use External Communication: Coordinate trades through external messaging apps or in-game chat to ensure both parties are on the same page.
