What Are Trophies?
Trophies are earned by participating in various game modes and are used to determine your ranking on the leaderboards. They serve as a reflection of your winning prowess, with each match offering the potential to gain or lose trophies based on your performance. If you want to know what game mode gives the most trophies, read my blog post about it.
Earning Trophies:
The primary way to earn trophies is by winning matches across the game’s multiple modes. Here’s how trophies are distributed:
- Showdown Modes (Solo and Duo):
In Solo Showdown, trophies are awarded based on your survival ranking at the end of the match. The longer you survive, the more trophies you earn.
In Duo Showdown, both your and your partner’s survival and kill count contribute to the trophies you earn together.
- 3v3 Modes (Gem Grab, Heist, Brawl Ball, etc.):
In these team-based modes, winning the match results in trophies for the team. Your individual performance, in terms of objectives achieved and enemies defeated, also plays a part in the trophies awarded.
Losing Trophies:
Just as you can earn trophies for winning, you can also lose them if you don’t perform well:
- In Solo Showdown, dying early in the game often results in losing trophies.
- In team modes, losses will decrease your trophy count, with the amount lost often less than what you can gain from a win, encouraging consistent play and improvement.
Managing Your Trophies
Managing your trophy count is crucial as it affects whom you compete against in matches. Higher trophies mean tougher opponents, as the matchmaking system aims to pair you with players of similar skill levels.
Some brawlers are better suited for certain modes. Picking the right brawler can increase your chances of winning and earning more trophies.Focus on the game objectives and work with your team. Understanding the mechanics of each mode can significantly improve your chances of winning.
The more you play, the better you’ll understand the dynamics of each brawler and game mode, which will help in making quicker, more effective decisions.
