Instructions for Deleting Roblox Group
1. Remove All Members
The first step in shutting down a Roblox group is to remove all members from the group:
- Go to your group page.
- Click on the Members tab.
- For each member, click the three dots next to their name and select Kick from Group.
Make sure to remove every member, including group admins and officers, until you are the only one left in the group.
2. Sell or Delete Group Assets
If your group owns any assets, like clothing items, game passes, or group funds, you should either sell or delete them:
- Go to the Group Admin page.
- Under Group Items, either set them for sale (if applicable) or delete them if you don’t want them to be available anymore.
- Withdraw any group funds if you want to keep them.
This step ensures that there are no lingering group assets once the group is inactive.
3. Rename and Archive the Group
While you can’t delete the group entirely, you can make it less visible by renaming it and changing the description:
- Go to the Group Admin page and select Group Information.
- Rename the group to something generic and unsearchable.
- Update the description to indicate that the group is no longer active or has been disbanded.
You can also change the group’s logo to a blank image or something that indicates the group is inactive.
4. Leave the Group
Once you’ve removed all members and archived the group, the final step is to leave the group yourself:
- Go to the group page.
- Click on the three dots next to your username and select Leave Group.
Since you’re the last member, leaving the group effectively closes it. While the group will technically still exist, it will be inactive and inaccessible without any members.
