Collecting and Using Stickers
Over time, players often gather plenty of Stickers of the same type. Monopoly GO! has an interesting feature that allows players to repurpose their duplicate stickers and turn them into Stars. These Stars can be used in the Stickers for Rewards menu, making duplicates valuable rather than just clutter.
Stars and Rewards
All duplicate Stickers in Monopoly GO! can be traded with friends for Stars. These Stars can then be used to unlock safes full of rewards in the Stickers for Rewards menu. Players can choose from three safes—Green, Blue, and Purple—each offering better rewards as the number of Stars required increases. However, not all Stars get used up during a Sticker season.
End of the Sticker Season
At the end of each Sticker season, a new Sticker Album is introduced. When this happens, all your Sticker Albums and any stickers you had will be reset, but any unused Stars will be saved. This means you won’t lose any Stars you’ve been holding onto. This system encourages players to use their Stars efficiently during each season but also provides assurance that their collected Stars will carry over to the next album.
When a Sticker Album ends, the Prestige Album starts immediately. The Prestige Album will contain all previous stickers (which you’ll need to collect again) plus new, “prestige” stickers. This provides an opportunity to continue collecting and earning rewards with an added layer of challenge.
Strategy for Using Stars
To make the most out of your Stars, keep track of them through the Stickers for Rewards page, accessible via the Chest in the lower right corner of the screen under the Sticker Albums. Depending on how many Stars they have, Monopoly GO! lets players unlock the best safe possible, which will contain unique sticker packs for the new album.
Fresh Start for a New Season
On the plus side, the reset gives players a clean slate to start off their new season. This provides the opportunity to collect a new batch of Stickers and work towards a new set of rewards. Currently, players are collecting stickers to complete the Making Music album, which will end on 20th June 2024. The new album will probably start right after.
