Pet Power increases the effectiveness of Brawlers’ companions, making them more potent in battle. For instance, it can augment the damage or utility provided by these pets, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay. This gear provides a significant advantage for Brawlers whose combat effectiveness heavily relies on their summoned units.
Brawlers Benefiting from Pet Power
The Pet Power Gear increases the power of spawnables (such as Nita’s bear, Jessie’s turret, and Mr. P’s porters) by 25%. It also affects the damage of Tara’s Support from Beyond Gadget and her Black Portal Star Power, as well as the healing provided by her Healing Shade Star Power.
For brawlers like Nita, whose entire kit revolves around her pet (Bruce the bear), the Pet Power Gear is particularly effective – it makes Bruce an even greater threat on the battlefield. However, for brawlers like Penny, who don’t rely as heavily on their pet’s stats, other gear choices (such as speed, damage, or reload) may be more beneficial. The Pet Power Gear might not be the best-in-slot (BiS) option for them.
