What is Teaming?
Teaming occurs when players in a supposedly solo competition secretly cooperate to gain an unfair advantage over other players. This behavior is considered against the rules in Solo Showdown, as it undermines the solo competitive nature of the mode.
Step 1: Observe the Behavior
Before reporting, ensure that what you’re observing is indeed teaming. Look for signs such as:
- Players not attacking each other deliberately while attacking others.
- Coordinated moves to corner or ambush a single player.
Step 2: Capture Evidence
It’s helpful to have evidence before you make a report. If possible, record the match, especially the moments that clearly show players are teaming up. This evidence can be crucial in helping Supercell understand and address the issue.
Step 3: Access the Report Feature
Once you have your evidence and are ready to report, follow these steps:
- After the Match: Wait for the match to end. Once it does, you will be taken to the match result screen.
- Player Review Screen: Here, you’ll see the list of players from the match. Find and select the player(s) you believe were teaming.
- Report Option: After selecting the player, an option to report the player should appear. Click on this option.
Step 4: Select the Reason for Reporting
When reporting a player, you’ll be asked to specify the reason. Make sure to select “Teaming” or any other relevant option provided that best describes the violation. This helps the game moderators to quickly assess and address the specific issue.
Step 5: Submit the Report
After selecting the reason, submit your report. You may also have the option to include additional details or attach video evidence. Make sure your report is clear and factual, focusing on the incident without including unnecessary commentary.
Additional Tips
- Remain Respectful: Even when reporting, it’s important to remain respectful and follow the community guidelines.
- Regular Updates: Supercell frequently updates their community guidelines and reporting mechanisms. Stay updated with any changes to ensure that your reports are filed correctly.
Reporting teaming in Solo Showdown helps maintain the integrity and enjoyment of Brawl Stars. While the reporting feature is a powerful tool for community self-regulation, it should be used responsibly and only when you’re sure of the misconduct.
